Perfect Pairings: A Sustainable Valentine’s Date Night At Home
Our plans for a romantic night out will be a little different this year, but we’re okay with that! With so much time spent at home this past year, we’ve really started to love making a special effort for date nights at home. In our Valentine’s Day edition we share our favourite ethical florists, where we are ordering our dinner and organic wine from, and lots more!

Bringing nature and beauty indoors is proven to uplift spirits, something we could all benefit from during this time! Treating ourselves, or a loved one, to some beautiful blooms is a wonderful ‘pick-me-up’ no matter what the occasion.
However, with long distance deliveries and usually plastic packaging, sadly our beautiful bouquets can come with a pretty hefty carbon footprint. We couldn’t talk about our date nights at home without mentioning organic wine – we at REV love to unwind in the evening with a glass to two. Takeaways don’t usually sit well with us at REV. However, some of our favourite local restaurants are offering takeaway services with sustainability considered, and we think it is so important to support them at this time. Not to mention, enjoying a delicious meal at home is such a treat!

Let's Talk About Dessert
For an extra special treat (and a dessert that will last you a few days!) we’d recommend trying one of Spring’s decadent cakes which are always our first choice when it comes to special occasions. Decorated with seasonal fruits and flowers from Fern Verrow, they really do taste as good as they look – we can vouch!
