Description

The Bud vase is designed to hold a single stem – a cutting from the garden, or a particularly special find from the florist. Part of a family of vases, designed with a sense of the organic matter within. A plinth holds an uneven, natural shaped vessel, which in turn holds the flower or arrangement. Handcrafted in Stoke-on-Trent using English Fine Bone China, highly regarded around the world for its whiteness, fineness and delicacy. Finished with 22 carat gold.

Feldspar's Local Production and Craftsmanship

Feldspar make their items out of fine bone china (the strongest type of ceramic) by a family run pottery factory in Stoke on Trent, supporting local British production and craftsmanship. They were anxious to preserve the skills required to keep bone china production going in England (and to show that it is perfectly possible to make things from start to finish in the UK). Their Devon pottery is half of their ceramics and everything they make is hand painted there.
