The new Fruit Bowl is placed on a pedestal to elevate the fruit within off the table. With a dimpled profile and a sketch-like hand painted banding in a deep Cobalt to contrast with the bright white of the fine bone china. With a high gloss transparent glaze. Handmade in our Devon studio. The Feldspar ethos has always been ‘objects for life’ – handcrafted items you can use daily that will last a lifetime.

Feldspar's Local Production and Craftsmanship

Feldspar make their items out of fine bone china (the strongest type of ceramic) by a family run pottery factory in Stoke on Trent, supporting local British production and craftsmanship. They were anxious to preserve the skills required to keep bone china production going in England (and to show that it is perfectly possible to make things from start to finish in the UK). Their Devon pottery is half of their ceramics and everything they make is hand painted there.
