What Makes Christy Dawn Regenerative?
As Christy Dawn grows, they’re evolving from sustainable to regenerative. The farm-to-closet initiative, which they launched in collaboration with Oshadi, stems from their commitment to deepen their intimate relationship with Mother Earth and the people on whom we rely. The farm-to-closet community includes a regenerative cotton farm and farmers, and a supply chain of local craftsmen who practice traditional and organic techniques that replenish the health of the soil, the planet, and the people. Their farm-to-closet initiative allows them to make beautiful dresses that are good for your skin and good for the Earth. Healthy soil is powerful: it restores natural systems, cools the planet, and reduces pollution.
Wearing Farm-to-Closet is an invitation to wear your values. Each purchase helps replenish even more soil and sequester even more carbon. It’s not a donation, it’s an opportunity to participate in a solution — one where you look good and feel good at the same time.

“Our Farm-to-Closet initiative is an invitation to step into the circle of regeneration — to wear your values and invest in healing, while dressing yourself in beauty too.”
The Noah Dress
The Noah Dress takes all their favorite design details and rolls them into one perfect wrap dress. She features a V-neck, tiered skirt, and three-quarter sleeves. Made from hand-woven fabric, the fabric in each piece took around two days to weave. The artisans use large, wooden looms to weave the yarn-dyed, regenerative cotton into the beautiful plaid design. Made from 100% regenerative cotton-this garment heals Mother Earth.
The Unisex Collection
Christy Dawn’s regenerative unisex collection features a selection of tees, sweatshirts and more with typographic and illustrative designs displaying messages of regeneration and positive change. We love this collection for anyone in your life who is passionate about sustainability and want to show that to the world. Many of the designs are made from their regenerative cotton and grown from seed in Erode, India.
The Gift of Land Stewardship
You can now purchase a Land Stewardship investment on the behalf of someone else — sharing the gift of process, healing and regeneration. The recipient of your gift will receive updates from the farm and reap the benefits of their Land Stewardship in the form of store credit at the end of the season.
Just $200 covers the cost of farming cotton regeneratively on 3,485 sq ft of land. Christy Dawn pays you, in the form of store credit, for the cotton grown on the land you stewarded. You earn $2.26/pound of cotton. If the yield is good, you could earn more than the $200 you invested! Not only that, you receive early access to the Farm-to-Closet collection, and get to wear the dress that you helped grow.
