Fawn and Freda is designed by founder Poppy Totman, a womenswear and embroidery designer who has spent her career designing for fashion brands around the globe. Fawn and Freda embodies a love for thoughtful simplicity and easy femininity, as well as a commitment to a way of making that is kinder both to the planet and people. Rooted in traditional heirloom craft, each piece is hand crafted in Britain using only natural fibres. Poppy hand-smocked & embroidered each piece in Fawn and Freda’s debut collection herself, skills she learned from her own mother. A love letter to her mother and her daughter and to the generations of women who passed down their craft.
