Every piece is handmade by men and women artisans in Kabul who we have worked with since 2008. The white agate is found in Bamayan and is perfect for spring’s longer, bright days.

Pippa Small holds the firm conviction that the importance of safe and creative jobs, reinforcing a sense of cultural identity and tradition through jewellery, is hugely important. In so many parts of the world there are so few opportunities and a complex mix of the impacts of climate change and conflict that is forcing people from their homes. A job, and giving a sense of pride and accomplishment, provides vital alternatives.
Each piece is handmade by artisans through one of the many foundations and communities she works with across the world, this includes – the arts foundation, Turquoise Mountain in Afghanistan, Myanmar and Jordan. She also works with artisans in Bolivia and Panama.
