Gold eye ring, this design is based on an ancient ring I saw in Paris at the Louvre, made in Java in the 6th century BC it was made of pure gold with a soft and warm finish and the shape of the universal eye keeping all evil at bay. Gold has been called the most beautiful chemical of all chemical elements, making it desirable for use in jewellery for thousands of years.

Pippa Small holds the firm conviction that the importance of safe and creative jobs, reinforcing a sense of cultural identity and tradition through jewellery, is hugely important. In so many parts of the world there are so few opportunities and a complex mix of the impacts of climate change and conflict that is forcing people from their homes. A job, and giving a sense of pride and accomplishment, provides vital alternatives.
Each piece is handmade by artisans through one of the many foundations and communities she works with across the world, this includes – the arts foundation, Turquoise Mountain in Afghanistan, Myanmar and Jordan. She also works with artisans in Bolivia and Panama.
