Nika Diamond-Krendel founded leather goods label Paradise Row after learning about the decline of leather workshops in East London due to British brands outsourcing their manufacturing abroad. This decline has led to local jobs disappearing, skills honed over generations being lost and, ultimately, the death of craftsmanship. Through their stunning, ethically handmade designs, Paradise Row are passionate about cherishing East London’s heritage and talent.

Since we at Rêve En Vert normally champion a plant-based lifestyle, we are often asked why we choose to stock leather. As a team of animal lovers, animal welfare is incredibly important to us. So is the protection of our planet. That is why we choose labels who champion natural materials that will naturally biodegradable over time, with upcycled leather that is bi-product and vegetable tanned being included in this category. Unfortunately, most vegan leathers are made from synthetic materials that will remain on the earth for hundreds of years to come, not to mention they can be dyed with toxic chemicals. The leather in our collections is as ethically sourced as possible and made to last for generations.
