1. Set the ambiance -

Creating a tranquil atmosphere which will help to relax the mind and body in preparation for your spa evening. Dim the lights and light some candles to create a soft, soothing atmosphere and put on your favourite calming music or some natural sounds in the background. Inhaling essential oils has been proven to aid relaxation, stress reduction, while acting as a natural mood booster, we recommend Lavender as it’s renowned for its calming and anxiety-relieving properties.

Prepare your spa essentials by laying out your bathrobe, a pair of matching pyjamas, and the products you wish to use. We’d also recommend adding some fresh flowers or plants to bring a touch of nature indoors.

7. The final step is applying your favourite facial oil -

The role of a facial oil is to keep your skin feeling hydrated and nourished. Not only does it calm irritated skin, but it works to heal scars and promote youthful skin, while regulating the skin’s natural oil production. You could also use a Gua Sha or using another face accessory for Lymphatic Drainage – see our guide to using a gua sha here.

Here are a couple of our facial facial oils:

  • Dr Joseph – Age Repair Miracle Drops
  • Maison Made – Biodynamic Rejuvenating Face Oil

8. Unwind and reflect -

After you’ve finished your spa treatments, take some time to unwind and reflect on your experience. This is a great opportunity to practice deep breathing or meditation to further relax your mind and body. You might want to incorporate other self-care activities such as reading, journaling or practicing yoga.
