Organic Basics

Organic Basics’ line of conscious lingerie is designed with your comfort in mind. Their collection of better made basics and lingerie is crafted from sustainably sourced materials including GOTS certified organic cotton. Their invisible line is created from recycled materials for a seamless look and feel underneath whatever you want to wear. Premium Italian recycled nylon requires 80% less water to make. Creating 90% fewer CO2 emissions in comparison to the virgin fabric. This means minimal visibility and minimal environmental impact!

Cou Cou Intimates

Cou Cou was founded to reduce the impact of our intimates. To take responsibility for the whole life cycle of our undies, they make our Cou Cou’s from 100% Organic Cotton, a sustainably-sourced fabric that’s also completely compostable. By designing for longevity, promoting conscious consumption, and operating through transparency, they hope to make our most disposed-of garments a little less disposable.

All Cou Cou’s are made from the highest quality, super-soft 100% Organic Cotton—a natural fibre that’s not only comfy (and cute) but compostable and completely free from synthetics, toxins & harmful chemicals. We love the cute styles and flirty fits of this line!

Pansy

Pansy is a small, woman-owned organic cotton underwear company.  Born from a need for comfy dreamy ethical undies, Pansy’s organic cotton is grown and milled domestically and our underwear are designed and sewn locally. Pansy underwear is sewn in a factory in San Leandro, CA, a twenty minute-drive from our Oakland studio.

The organic cotton is grown in Texas and milled in North Carolina. The natural rubber/cotton elastic is made in Rhode Island. The underwear is garment dyed with non-toxic fiber-reactive dyes in a factory in Novato, CA. We use organic cotton thread and woven organic cotton twill tags.

Mate the Label

MATE is sustainably made with non-toxic, natural, and organic materials. They use Organic yarns and dyes so that people and the planet are not exposed to harmful pesticides. Sourcing Organic improves the full lifecycle of our products—from farms, to garment workers, to customers, and back to the soil. We love them for our organic activewear, but their well covering bras and perfectly styled undies are staples for our whole team.

Proclaim

Proclaim‘s core collection is made with only GOTS Certified Organic Cotton. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the gold standard for organic fiber production and processing, ensuring rigorous environmental and social criteria are met every step of the way. They also are made locally in Los Angeles which we love!

We also love that they are are consciously selecting only natural-based fabrics instead of synthetic fabrics which shed microplastics. Proclaim use TENCEL™, Organic Cotton, Hemp, Cupro, and EVO® . These are combined with the minimal amount of  elastane necessary to give their pieces the stretch and recovery needed for garment longevity. This is an amazing line for inclusivity and is appealing on all body types!
