A childhood memory of collecting seashells at the beach brought this piece into the present. It didn’t matter if what was found was broken; it was the discovery that gave them value. Made in recycled sterling silver with 18ct gold plating.

Finding Beauty In Imperfections

​A German Brazilian designer currently based in London, Carolina de Barros’ beautiful line of handcrafted jewellery is inspired by the natural forms of earth and stone, finding beauty in imperfections and the human touch. Working with the ancient technique of lost wax casting, each piece is carved by hand in wax, before being cast in precious metals, resulting in a collection of completely unique pieces.
