Today, we have a special episode! Our co-founder, Cora Hilts, visits the amazing Kindred Motorworks in Vallejo, California. In this episode, Cora meets with founder Rob Howard. They explore the future of electric car conversion and vintage restorations. Kindred Motorworks is doing more than we expect from a garage today. Their amazing work leads the way in vehicle innovation. They blend the old with the new to create beautiful, sustainable designs that are also waste-free.
Kindred Motorworks doesn’t have to emphasize sustainability. Their circular model is already resourceful and regenerative by nature. From the founder himself; “We are not only recycling the car instead of buying a brand new one, which has all brand new materials, but we’re also converting the car to electric. These old cars get very poor gas mileage and they have no environmental regulation. So for every single old car you covert to electric, it’s the equivalent of taking ten off the road.”
