HERD Knitwear
HERD is a pioneering sustainable luxury yarn and knitwear brand. By sourcing fibres directly from a collective of farmers and harvesters they maintain control of creating superior wool. Their signature Upland Yarn is made from 100% Bluefaced Leicester fleeces within just 150 miles of the farms in Yorkshire, North West England, where the climate provides perfect conditions and abundant rich green grass. HERD is proudly additive free, each exquisitely hand-finished piece made without toxicity. Seasonless luxury bursting with character to love forever, and 100% naturally biodegradable when returned to the soil; a truly circular, regenerative ethos.
1 Atelier
The 1 Atelier Farm To Arm Capsule is the first luxury accessories offering designed to be net-zero carbon, biodegradable, and waste-free. Starting with leather that is sourced from regenerative farms in the United States and vegetable-tanned by a 117-year-old American tannery using only natural ingredients, each piece is then meticulously handcrafted-to-order by the craftspeople at their Atelier in the Garment District of New York City. Already a pioneer in sustainable luxury, 1 Atelier set out to create a beautifully designed collection that contributes more fully to the drastic systemic change required to eliminate the devastating impact that the fashion industry has on the environment. There is a bag for anyone in this collection – they are sophisticated, elegant, and practical.
Dry Farm Wines
Founder, Todd White developed the Dry Farm Wines Certification for finding the purest Natural Wines on the planet. This included a strict set of criteria: only organically farmed, sugar free, additive free, lower alcohol, lower sulfite, lab tested wines. It was from this personal journey that Dry Farm Wines was born. Dry Farming means artificial irrigation to grow crops in not allowed. Instead, farmers rely on natural water resources to ripen their fruit. This means the roots of the vines grow deep to find a natural water source. It is better for the planet, better for the vine, and produces nutrient rich fruit.
Stay at Wildflower Farms, Auberge Resorts Collection
Wildflower Farms is a beautiful and incredibly conscious resort nestled on 140 secluded acres in New York’s Hudson Valley. Located just 90 minutes from New York City and set amongst the storied region’s natural beauty, the resort will be a verdant escape focused on nature and wellness in all senses. The hotel takes part in a community solar project, which allows it to lower its carbon footprint, minimize greenhouse gas emissions, and provide electricity to local communities. Other green practices include composting, reusing water from storms, and recycling.
Shadows Sun
The brand is committed to creating the most comfortable and easy-to-style stapes that are created with the Earth in mind. Shadows Sun makes their vintage-inspired tops with GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, from farms in India that use Regenerative farming methods. All their dyes and inks are non-toxic and water-based, free from any harmful chemicals. They are transparent about their supply chain, and they follow strict labor standards, including payment of a living wage, safe working conditions, and of course no child labor. Perfect for lounging around the Wythe or pairing with a blazer to go out with!
Ffern Perfume
Ffern is a natural perfume maker. Everything about their fragrance-making process serves a single end: To connect their wearers to nature through perfume. From the ingredient growing, harvest, extraction and fragrance development through to the blending and barrel ageing, they try to act as responsible custodians of these incredible natural resources. This is reflected in their ledger model – rather than bulk manufacturing perfume and shipping it worldwide to be sold in airports and department stores year after year, their fragrances are small batch, and limited edition by their very nature.
Farm Day at Petalon Flowers
From 2024 Petalon Flowers will be offering visits to their carbon neutral, regenerative farm on the north coast of Cornwall.
