Farmshop

Located in the Brentwood country mart, Farmshop is one of my go-to places for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner – you just cannot go wrong! Their deli is a great place to find healthy dishes to grab in a hurry too. Farmshop prides itself on supporting local farms to create farm to table dishes with star ingredients. Grab dinner at Farmshop and organic ice cream next door at Sweet Rose for a lovely nice out!

Rustic Canyon

I have been eating at Rustic Canyon for years and years because their attention to sustainability is always spot on. I usually see their chef team at the famous Wednesday Santa Monica Farmers Market shopping at the best local farm stalls. Their food is inspired by the farmers market and the local ingredients they can find. The wine list is full of natural, biodynamic, organic, and low intervention wines mostly from West Coast wineries. Eating at Rustic Canyon is always an amazing experience and their ever changing menu keeps things exciting!

RVR

Expect to join the line outside (even if you have a reservation) for RVR. This newly opened Venice restaurant has become a cult favorite for a reason. RVR blends Californian and Japanese flavors, pulling inspiration from the local farmers market to create beautiful dishes. The veggie options here are truly incredible, so a great choice if you don’t eat meat or fish. The perfect spot for a date night!

Anajak

Located over the hill in the valley, Anajak is my favorite Thai restaurant. Their menu is incredibly transparent and they only source from the best farms. Anajak’s wine list is famous for a reason, and they only select natural, organic, biodynamic, and low intervention wines. We love eating at Anajak with our kids, as the outdoor space is incredibly family friendly with amazing music and always fantastic service!

Organic Oren

If you are looking to eat healthy and organic at home, but you are short on time, order meals from Organic Oren. Organic Oren is my go-to meal delivery service that the whole family loves. It is always organic, local, and delicious. You can order each week so you don’t have to be committed full time to enjoy their amazing meals, snacks, and healthy sweet treats. 

Orto

Orto, Italian for “Vegetable Garden,” is my favourite Italian restaurant in LA. With a focus on local ingredients, Orto’s menu is inspired by what they can find at the Santa Monica farmers market and what they can grow on their beautiful patio. All of their dishes are simple yet delicious, and the quality of the ingredients are part of the reason. Plus, their entire wine list focuses on sustainable and organic producers. Grab a table on their patio under the string lights and next to their organic herb garden!

Seco

This neighborhood wine bar serves some of the best natural wine in town! Seco in Silverlake is the perfect blend of Mexican and European café culture. “We tried to create an ‘everyday bar’ — like when you’re walking in Europe and you find this cute little corner and you just sit there all day, drinking wine, having tapas, and just enjoying yourself,” says founder Jos Gozain. Wine bar staples like oysters, olives, and jamon and cheese plates set the tone, followed by crudos, tostadas, and a wild card spicy vodka strozzapreti. Perfect for girl’s night or date night!
