The REV Team’s Sustainable Fashion Essentials For Work
Here at REV we are big fans of a casual yet timeless look for both office and remote working, and having had so many requests for what to wear to work that is sustainable we wanted to put together our team go to’s for any occasion! From ethical leather bags to the perfect suiting, we hope what we are wearing is a great reminder that even work wear can be investment pieces made to last and make you feel great.
Naru Studios Ethical Leather Bags
These bags are so beautiful and so thoughtfully made the whole team is after one! We are using the larger tote for bringing in a laptop to work, or the smaller bags are beautiful for dashing out from a work from home situation!
Kjinsen Sustainable Fashion
We could not have asked for a more perfect sustainable work wear line if we tried! These pieces are made with organic and ethically sourced materials to make luxury office wear easy to style and beautiful to wear. KJINSEN is a British sustainable ready-to wear label offering women an aesthetic that transcends trends and celebrates strong silhouettes. It was born out of a desire to create highly wearable yet sophisticated outfits that remain impactful season after season. The KJINSEN wardrobe was designed with ease in mind, to flatter the female figure whether expertly styled or worn with minimal intent. They work exclusively with natural biodegradable fabrics.
Navygrey NEAT jumpers
These fitted jumpers are made from ethical wool and then in the perfect classic colors you can pair with any trouser or skirt. Their lightweight knits are amazing for Fall all the way through Spring. Navygrey uses handpicked superfine wool that is Woolmark certified – each raw fibre lot can be traced back to the farm that produced it, ensuring greater quality control. Naturally breathable and odour resistant, it is natural, renewable and biodegradable. Sweaters are made in a small factory in Portugal, near Porto which complies with best practice and sustainable principles.
Makal Jewellery
Easy for dressing up or down, this ethical jewelry line is great for accessorizing any outfit and we love the bold studs and simple hoops for being the only thing you need to wear with a gorgeous chunky sweater or oxford top! An ethical and highly artisanal fine jewellery line founded by Daniela Colaiacovo. Each MAKAL collection collaborates with female jewellery designers. MAKAL is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and follows the rigorous industry standards it sets. All gemstones are registered on the Gemstone and Jewellery Community Platform, and all their gemstones suppliers are subject to thorough due diligence procedures to ensure that they meet our environmental and social values. In early 2021, MAKAL announced a new project to support women in sustainable mining in northern Kenya.
WNU Poplin Shirts
These are our go-to shirts for casual office days! Made with all organic cotton, we are pairing them with some great trousers and loafers or layering them under a classic blazer. WNU is all about simplicity – paired back, laid back, timeless, effortless shirts. Inspired by men’s tailoring, and perfectly adjusted for women, the button-downs had to be sustainably sourced and stand the test of time. With the collection available in a range of materials from cotton workwear to travelling linens, WNU caters to the many different women we are throughout our week. WNU shirts are made from 100% organic materials, which are sourced and woven to order locally in Portugal.
Only Essentials Merino Tops
We cannot style these enough going into Autumn – the perfect light merino knitwear that comes in short sleeve right through to turtlenecks. We love the idea of having these on with a high waisted pair of trousers. Only Essentials create timeless luxury essentials in ethical wool that is as soft on you as it is on the planet. Their New Zealand Merino is ZQ Certified which ensures it is grown and certified to the highest of quality, meets environmental sustainability benchmarks, and adheres to animal welfare and social responsibilities. Certified ZQ growers are required to provide and care for their animals in accordance with the five basic freedoms, ensuring this Merino is mulesing-free.
Leap Concept Cashmere Bottoms
These trousers and gray wrap skirt are the perfect cold weather bottoms that you can dress up or down, and made with ethical cashmere that feel amazing. The knit dress is a perfect way to find something to throw under a blazer as well! Leap Concept stands for sophisticated knitwear design, sustainability and innovation. We have garnered a loyal emphasis on elevated lifestyle essentials with intention to build a wardrobe instead of renewing it. Each collection is defined by a minimalist assortment, building blocks imbued with an artfully elegant point of difference and texturally rich approach.
Olistic The Label x Arizona Muse Collection
We love this luxurious Parisian label for so many reasons, but their collection with Arizona Muse featuring gorgeous black pieces in Lyocell is our go to for high end work wear. Easy to wear and comfortable, these items are made of lyocell, a soft and silky natural fabric produced in an eco-friendly way from wood fibers coming from certified sustainable forests.
