Cora’s Green Christmas Wish List

Cora's Christmas Wish List

Cora walks us through her Christmas list for a sustainable gift guide

I have been trying to make the switch to a zero waste life this year and getting bar soaps on to the site has been a great way to cut down on the need for plastic in my bathroom, particularly when they are as nice as these ones from Feldspar. Everyone in my family is getting one in their stocking this year in order to encourage cutting back on plastics!

I live in AIAYU wool jumpers during the winter, and this Nayana style might be my favourite of all. It’s so cozy and the camel colour is beautiful. As they are a Danish brand you just get the cozy Hygge vibe happening whenever you wear one which is perfect at Christmas. They are the most sustainable wool manufacturers I have met to date, with an incredible supply chain that supports different artisan communities.

Kelp Soap
Nayana Sweater

These earrings are the perfect hoops, made from recycled brass in Africa. SOKO supports artisans to continue their craft and make a sustainable living through jewellery. I love all their pieces.

Who doesn’t love a red lip over the Holidays? This perfect red lipstick from Kjaer Weis is my go to colour. Plus all the ingredients are organic and the lipstick itself is refillable so again, zero waste living without much effort at all! These lipsticks are going to a few friends.

Mezi Mini Hoop Earrings
Red lipstick
Siena Camisole
Gold Espresso Mug

This organic silk camisole is what I want to sleep in every night – it’s that perfect blend of sustainable luxury and sexy that can easily be paired with your favourite lounge pants to elevate the look. Or throw it on under a blazer or over-sized shirt. Christina Leonor does the most amazing lingerie, all made in Italy from the finest sustainable materials. Even the lace is ethically sourced!

Feldspar is getting given to everyone in my family this year – my husband and I went to visit the makers, Jeremy and Cath, at their farm in the south of England where they still make everything by hand with the help of some local craftsmen. All their pieces are completely unique and they even still dig up some of the clay themselves. They are our first sustainable home line and I hope to be bringing on much more, but for now this gold espresso mug is my favourite.

The Safe
Cindy Blouse
Paul Earrings
Mechera Sweater

Khoza Numbers are my favourite new bag line out of Portland, Oregon. Everything is made by hand from local tanneries that use off-cut leathers and vegetable tanning processes. The Safe is the one I love the most as I am always needing a big bag.

I am dying for all of the M Sahlberg jewellery but these artsy takes on a hoop I just adore. Everything is hand-made in Sweden from recycled metals and comes in zero waste packaging – who wouldn’t love that?
